I can’t resist the Oris Big Crown Pointer Date. It’s just the bee’s knees! 😄
I never understood the point of a month display on a watch. Who doesn’t remember what month it is? 😂
I choose E. - no date
I choose E. - no date
Oh Mel, always pushing boundaries and making your own rules! Beautiful watch! I personally like all the choices including some not mentioned and no date sometimes is really nice too! A really sweet feature I'd like is a date window that opens and closes so you have tha feature of the date but it doesn't take away from the symmetry or design of the watch.

Sorry Lincoln - I just couldn't resist.
I appreciate all forms actually. Just gave me the opportunity to post that beautiful red dial again 😉

I have been honestly asked that question before. The other thing is it was the middle of December. I do think people should really know this as well but some people like it to be on their watch. 🤣

I would have just replied “Christmas is next week, what do you think?” 🤣

I was too shocked and just trying to figure out if it was a serious question to have such a cool response. If I'd been wearing that watch I would have just pointed at it.

Nice 1920's expression!
I do like a well-designed date window, but that date pointer is just something else. It visualises the whole month: There's pay day, there's rent day, there's fried cheese day...
I really like the chronograph style 😇
Where’s the option Date ((framed)window)?
The half moon pointer date on Oris watches is probably my favorite hand (maybe tied with the Monster and Samurai hour hand)
I actually prefer no date, but if I had to choose, it's not an option in the poll.
Because I'd go E - Just the date.
It really just depends on the execution. There are so many options. Some done well and some done terrible.
No date😅
I voted for the BC, but I'm prejudiced. Since I first saw a pic of one, I've been in love. Hasn't changed a bit in 1.5 yrs of wearing it (in rotation with my others). Every time I put it on, I smile. The pointer date just adds the right touch of uniqueness and to the perfect style.
No date.
It's a function that's only useful once per day!
Hate day displays, completely pointless..
Of those pictured I like the look of the pointer date, actually looks like it was designed with the watch , rather than an uncohesive hole stamped out of the dial.

Only 4 poll options. I left out the most common ones.
I prefer a no date complication, but the Oris Pointer date is such a looker!!!

I'm a common man. I only want a date (or a japanese day as in my SBSA57).

A day function in a different language is for sure my least favorite.

It is for me as well (french… yuck!) but I make an exception for Kanji.
That on a Seiko is just flavor.
