The watch I thought I wanted…

I had been eyeing the above pictured SPB127 for a few months when I realized one day, it did not really feel like the watch I could not be without? It is a beautiful watch do not get me wrong, but it just did not capture my imagination like it used to. I have at present several dive watches including a few Orient dive watches and a Seiko King Samurai. I got my first desk job, where I have to wear a suit for a Board meeting once a quarter, and now I want to get a nice dress watch that does not look big and clunky under a suit. Hence the SPB127. Buuuuuuut…. any of these options might fit that same need better while also being more versatile. Do I still opt for the SPB127? Or get a slightly cheaper and more versatile Presage from down below?

Have you considered the CW C63?

They offer multiple versions, in both 36 and 39mm diameters.

Not sure I love their logo, but the ones with the printed name look great!

That's the version I have, and I also prefer the printed name.

What's your usual color scheme for how you dress?

Well my day to day is a lot of earth tones and some minimal splashes of color (occasional teal or primary color pattern). My usual board meeting suit is gray, but I have a blue sport coat as an option too.

Don't follow the masses on this one because they are wrong again.  The beautiful pattern of the SARX055 looks better than the geometric patterns of the others and the heat blued second hand gives that watch a color pop.
