What to buy next?
Watches drastically reduced to just two now. What to buy next? I am on the 'mythical' waiting list for Rolex Explorer 1, but not holding my breath for one anytime soon. I have not seen anything that really excites me at the moment. Any suggestions? Need inspiration.

It depends on your lifestyle. I wouldn’t wear either for yardwork or a bike ride or anything involving mud/dust.
But maybe you never encounter such things.

You have dive and dress very well covered. Maybe a colourful chrono?
I would get a G-Shock for yard work and things like that, but that would be outside your main collection. To add to this two-piece maybe look at a Longines Spirit or Conquest. Both are great everyday watches with great specs. If you are looking for something to tide you over until you get the mythical call for an Explorer 1, you could look at some independents, like Islander, that does the Manhasset, which is a nice Explorer placeholder.
I’d look at something from the field/pilot style. Maybe a Hamilton Murph 38.
Or add some colour. Maybe a blue dial Longines Big Eye or green Rado Captain Cook.
Agree that an everyday sports watch or field/Flieger might be best. IWC Mark XVIII le petite prince might add some soft color.
Maybe see if you can fare with just these two for the moment? Until you either finally get that explorer call or until you find something that really appeals to you!
