Do you have a collection killer?

This explorer is bit of a collection killer, it has 90% of the wrist time. Do you have a collection killer type watch ?

I don't. I don't keep watches that aren't getting wrist time and I wear them all in rotation.

·

Yes, my Seamaster 300. Could easily be my one watch- I have to really try not to wear it, & when I wear owt else I get a pang of disappointment whenever I check the time.

·

My PMD56 is a kind of a wristbait. Once I put it on, hard to let a chance to others for few days straight.

·

That’s the only Rolex I’d consider buying.

Nice one.

My collection killers are my Oris rectangular and my RGM Professional.

No collection killer for me. I enjoy wearing all of my core collection. I wear them all regularly in rotation.

·

Love the Explorer - the complete package

·

My Blancpain 😅. The fifty fathoms is just that great. Though my GMT master is my travel piece, and my Ranger is the daily beater.

·

Right now it's my moonwatch but...it's my latest acquisition....

·

Yep, the explorer can do that! 👍

·

Yes, and I'm ashamed to admit it is an Apple Watch.

·

More like core killers. 10% of the watches that get 90% of the wear. My beloved Explorer didn't even make the roster of ten watches taken to the Seattle meetup last weekend. 😢

·

I do. The Explorer again for me.

Made my AD look worried when I said “I have a real problem with the Explorer you sold me… it’s taking time away from my other watches!” 😂😂 He then realised that’s because it’s such a great watch 👏🏻👏🏻

·

G-shock! Expensive mechanical watches just don’t have enough place in my lifestyle.

·

Yup.

My Aqua Terra - but it's so much better than anything else I own so it's not really a fair fight!

Yes my Tudor Pelagos it’s my go to watch

On my shortlist for next major purchase

·

I thought my Explorer would be my collection killer... and then I ordered another watch 4 days after getting it🤣....😭

·

For me that would be my Zulu Time.

but, not really, I still rotate all of them in phases

yep. same. the Explorer has been dominating my wrist time lately. but it could just be that it’s the newest watch in my collection. besides that, the two other watches in my Top 3 Most Worn are the Seamaster 300, and maybe a tie between the Tudor BB Pro and the Seiko 5 GMT.

from these choices i think it’s clear i gravitate towards the sport watches in my collection. 😂😂

I have my eye on a Sin 556A which I think it will be my collection killer

·

This could be my one and done watch. However, I’m adding a Pelagos 39 and Omega Seamaster 300 Hertiage soon. I like variety 😃

Ugh, it’s going to be hard deciding to get the Pelagos 39 or that 300 Heritage in Periwinkle blue this December

well, i can tell you that even as an owner of the Seamaster 300 AND the Rolex Sub (no date), I STILL want to get the Tudor Pelagos 39! i think it’s a spectacular watch and i find myself thinking about it far too often. I’ve told myself that I don’t NEED it. but after so many months, I have found that it still calls out to me. so…in the end, i think i might just have to add the Pelagos 39 to my collection too. but that can wait…

·

I know your struggles. My Rolex Explorer is on my wrist 6 days a week.

Yup.

I think the judges will give you a pass on this one.

·

I don't have a collection killer. I like to think I wear a watch that suits the occasion, but that's not even always true. A lot of the time I have no idea which watch I will pick.

You might as well ask the wind why it blows.*

*Totally unnecessary statement made to sound very deep and wise, but really doesn't mean anything.

This little 36mm beauty always seems to get the bulk of my wrist time.

Don't you just love a sterile dial? I don't! Because now I have to ask what the watch is and who it's made by.

·

I do because it's Tandorio and who would want to advertise that lol.
