It’s an Oris TT3, Ti. I believe it was built in partnership with Williams F1 in the late 2000s/early 2010s.
Well, perfect watch for this thread then.
James Vowels fills me with confidence for some reason. I've got a soft spot for Williams - hope to see them fighting for podiums in the next 4-5 years.
A very modest one i'm afraid. My Brew Metric. But I can't wait for quali tomorrow. Who do you root for Anthony?
Oh, Brew are fantastic - I was in the coffee industry way back when so I have a soft spot for them.
McLaren are my guys - love Danny Ric (… I'm an Aussie. 🤷🏻), how can you not love Fernando?, beginning to love Piastri too!
You?
Quali will be great - hard to know how close they'll be to Red Bull, and who. Love this time of year! I have a feeling it's going to be a little closer this year, especially in the back half of the season.
In my mind if there could only be one racing watch it would be the Carrera. The ties of racing and the Carrera are unparalleled. The tachymater is actually inside of the chapter of the ring, making the tachy highly functional, proving that this watch was designed purely for racing. It was designed so a race car driver could easily read the tachy while at speed. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
Really nice example of a truly great watch.
The Carrera has one of 𝘵𝘩𝘦 great case shapes too.
It's sort've an under appreciated watch given the status of the Daytona and the uniqueness of the Monaco.
I hope the Glassbox is a signal that the brand is going to continue to lean into (and update rather than rehash) the Heuer back catalogue 'cause it's one of the best there is.
One of the models from the F1 sponsors that even I can afford. Tag Heuer 2000
It was interesting to be sure, a little uneventful maybe but it was good to see Charles Leclerc go quicker in Q2 than Verstappen did in Q3. Looks like Ferrari at least will be as competitive at the start of the season as they were at the end of '23.
I reckon Mercedes are going to have good race pace too. Aston and McLaren look competitive as well.
I hope either Williams or RB2 start to fight the front runners as the season develops. It's always good when that happens.

Speaking of, did see Verstappens new watch after quali?
Beautiful. Reminds me of that Tagheuer Bamford chronograph collab with that Japanese brand.
Thank you! That's an interesting one, same kind of feeling. I get a bit of 🇬🇧 vibe coming off this one, which is partly why I liked it! It'll be on my wrist at the upcoming British Watchmakers' day

Nice! Is that a Mk 4.5?
I don't think I know that Oris - interesting strap. Is it new or from the 90's / early 2000's?

Cool watch!
Nice one Rich.
Really like this one - considered picking it up, the asymmetry is 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 cool.

Mark II 😉
Mark II 😉
Thanks, thought it looked like a 4.5.
I've always liked the Mk. II, particularly the racing dial.
👌🏼
Maybe I get a mecha quartz?
Fanatically following F1 since 1969

Nice Oris! perfect for the topic✨

And yay F1! Feels like we’ve been waiting for this day forever. Very excited to see how this season shapes up!

My chronos, such that they are:
I want Kimi back!
Ready for quali... Tag Heuer Microtimer and Girard Perregaux Ferrari
On my wrist at the moment! Limited edition Bernina from Farer. I'm testing it out on a Milanese bracelet at the moment, any thoughts?
Beautiful. Reminds me of that Tagheuer Bamford chronograph collab with that Japanese brand.
A little late but here you go.
I have others but I didn’t want to over do it.
That was quite the quali!
