Authorized dealer and sort after watches
I live in SoCal and we have a good collection of rich people here so most of the sort after watches are never available.. I wanted to buy a Omega Seamaster Professional Seaweed (green) and as usual there is a wait time and a list. When did Omega turned into Rolex?
I have an AD that I a have bought few watches from in past and I expressed my interest in what I wanted next.. within a month that not so available SMP is on my wrist.. Love the whole experience and feel fortunate to be able to afford it. Totally worth sticking to an AD.
Now have to work harder to afford the next one..

I have recently started collecting watches, like 5 years ago. Love them for the art and engineering. And my wife doesn’t know how many watches I have.

Sometimes kayaking through a tide line, a piece of seaweed catches on my paddle, then flies off at apex of the high angle stroke, and lands on my head.
I briefly appear as swamp thing, and it’s times like this I feel a seaweed seamaster is totally needed in my collection-

I wish I knew, but many of their announcements from last spring still have not hit shelves. The ATs have had a minor tweak in design and it seems weird to make an announcement of them and a year later for them to not be in stores yet. Really not sure why.

I have other watches with rubber bands, nato, and metal but this by far is most comfortable that i have worn.. At this point in life I prefer comfort over design…
