My first post - Dryden heartlander

I created an account quite long ago but haven’t posted anything yet.

This is my first, and only real watch. The Dryden heartlander date, it’s 38mm with a Miyota 9015 inside.

For those who are not familiar with Dryden, its an American microbrand based in Kansas. Therefore it feels special to have one of the 50 pieces produced with this dial in northern Sweden, a few miles away.

These are a few of my favorite pictures of it since I bought it in September 2023 as a 20th birthday gift to myself

Specs:

Diameter: 38mm

Lug to lug: 46mm

Thickness 11,2mm

Sapphire crystal

100m water resistance

Miyota 9015 (4Hz)

Nice first selection my dude.

Saw that you also have a heartlander, what do you think about it?

I am a Dryden Heartlander fan and owner. Solid stylish gada, IMHO.

Really nice! That’s probably the dial I would chose from the none-dates. What do you think about it?

The microbrand world is really interesting. I feel like it’s a bit ‘hit or miss’ and I did definitely hit a home run.

Not sure I understand as I already stated I am a fan, and my thoughts. The color way and dial is the one I preferred from what they offered.

Good choice!

Kinda regret selling mine, it was my most comfortable watch by far. Perfect dimensions.

Hope they'll rerease some of the sold out the Heartlander models in the future.

Your has already seen more action than mine. 🔥🔥

Sorry if I was vague, I meant more like what do you think about fit, looks, accuracy, versatility, strap options etc etc. What made you chose the non-date over the date?

I love it.

Mrs. SolidYetti is from KC, and Raven was out of stock, so along came Dryden.

I went with the no date, it's my preference.

And even though I'm a single pass strap guy, I love this thing on the bracelet.

The links are small and has plenty of adjustment holes in the clasp so fit is perfect. It looks amazing in person. I am really not a stickler for accuracy but I see no variance over a week's time. I think it is a gada so to me is completely versatile. I only wear bracelets and this one is solid and balanced. I also do not prefer a date window as I rarely forget the day I am in though I do have some watches that have date windows. Bottom line, it can be the best overall watch for anyone, if they like it's design and style.
