Need advice
I really really like the design look sporty but also very classic look of this new Seiko.
But...
I would definitely prefer it without the third hand GMT and under 300$
Are there any watches that comes to your mind that would have similar look with this type of bezel but no GMT and affordable?
I'd rather not spend money on Chinese but not totally close to the idea either.
Waiting for your advices and ideas fellow crunchers!

I know its not dead on similar to the Seiko you liked, but this one came to mind based on the more retro look. With a 20% off discount, this would be $280.

That's a very cool watch but this one is more of a diver style looking watch and I'm looking more for a outdoor every day.
I know what you said about Chinese manufactured watches, but I buy a lot of parts through Aliexpress and have had no issues with my watch builds. I suggest having a look at the Seestern's or Pagani Design's interpretation of a Doxa diver. It's something to consider at least as those have Seiko movements. I have an Addiesdive MY-H8 that I bought from them and it's surprisingly good.
The price is very to high for me. You are right about the GMT.

Seiko's Sports 5 55 anniversary have similar case but the dial is quite different. Over your price limit but I think it will hold it's value better in the second hand market 🤷
The closest alternative is the Tortoise models. You can find these models for around $300-400, quite a good price for a watch with some proper specs. There are a few more colors in this collection and should be a good alternative.
42mm case, 45mm lug to lug and 11.7mm thick, 200m WR, sapphire crystal and 20mm lug width. You can mod the bezel insert to something more useful too if you don't want the compass bezel. SRPJ13, SRPJ15, SRPH15, SRPH17.
The Vostok Komandirskie has similar vibe at a fraction of the price. Got mine for around 80$. It’s has the GMT function, though it really just shows a 24H and can’t be adjusted independently
