Do you think that square watches become back in fashion again?

I see lately more and more square watches being brought to our attention. I personally like this a lot, I love a square watch. Squarish like the Casio AE-1200 with the nice modkits from SKX Mod, off course the famous Tag Heuer Monaco, but also the latest Glashütte.

I feel like square watches are equivalent to Dr. Martens. You’re never going to be out of fashion wearing them, but the mainstream popularity tends to ebb and flow.

They'll always be around, and may become a bit more popular, but I doubt they will become more popular than roundish case shapes.

They've always been around but never really in fashion.

Here’s a non-round design I quite like, it isn’t quite square though… Nomos does make a square watch called the Tetra, though sadly it lacks subsidiary seconds.

I am positive of this as well, just noticed lately a bit more reviews and attention around squarish watches. Here you have a few:

My only square watch ,until you try one on you won't appreciate it ,I think they may make a comeback as apple watches are square and enough people wear them

They are as 'in fashion' now as they will ever be. Companies are making them. People are buying them. I don't see the numbers rising crazily from here, nor do I see them plummeting. I've noticed some YouTubers who have started wearing square watches lately have declared they will be 'the next big thing'; the hubris of which is outstanding ("I like something, ergo, it will be the next big thing..." LOL), but I think I have the right of it here... they are as 'in fashion' now as they will ever be. No more, no less, basically.
