IBack to basics
A very short post: I am collecting for a while and every time you go for a new watch, you think: it has to be different from the ones I already have. And then, 10 watches later, you realize that the watches you actually wear and appreciate are the simple ones. So this year 2024, I simply, in case I would get some new watch, go for simple but high quality, what do you guys think?

Completely understand your drama and and can't but agree with your choice of quality over quantity while of course meeting your preferences.
It is always the point that no one ever needed 2 watches, so if we get on that track, trying to check out boxes or collecting watches as if they were stamps doesn't make sense most of the times.
Buy what you like and wear what you buy. Matches both things - go ahead!

I will also cut down buying watches this year. Will maybe try to buy one watch (high precision or something else very different). Otherwise will learn other things about watches, like regulating (timegrapher on order) and mayby some customization. Maybe not this year but in future also build diy-watch.
