My budget is around 150 and I want 2 watches I was thinking a casioak and a timex weekender or seiko 5 with a Casio a168. I am also open to other options I would just like a retro styled watch and a nice field to dress watch
If you want a duable watch that can do everything and a somewhat more casual watch that can be dressed up or down, I think the casioak and a timex weekender will work for you, but in my opinion for $150 I would get 1 watch that can fit in most situations, for instance the Orient mako 2/ray 2, but that's up to you

if he goes with one watch and a casio I'd go with a casioak, it won't break, it looks good, its legible, its just great, the f-91w is an icon, no doubt about that, but not as legible and not as robust as the casioak (in my opinion not as good looking as well)
Have a look at brand Tandorio on AliExpress. They have a ton of self-winders in your budget of varying styles; if you do not mind homages, sister brand Corgeut gives you further options.
I don’t like the Casioak personally as there’s not much contrast between the face and hands. I also wouldn’t go for the Weekender as it ticks REALLY loud. BTW, I own both watches.
For a daily beater, I’d go with a DW5600 and for the smarter watch I personally love my Casio MTP-V005L-2B4. It would leave enough in your budget to get a nice leather strap for it too.

No one works the affordable end of the watch game like @uhrensohn . He could buy two watches for pocket lint and a bus token.
What does $150 get you Balthazar?

Casioak and timex are a good combo.
