NWA 🚨 Seiko SPB143
The Seiko SPB143 has been a grail watch of mine for a couple of years now. However, I’ve always hesitated on purchasing one due to the high MSRP price for a Seiko.
So when I saw this one pop up on eBay for $600 (no box/papers), I quickly jumped on it and reached out to the seller figuring out when it was purchased and why it was up for sale. Everything checked out and I immediately purchased the watch. Besides some minor scratching on the bracelet clasp, the watch looks well taken care of and I’m extremely happy with my purchase.
It’s always a bit scary buying watches second hand, but there are always deals to be found out there in the used market.
Extremely excited to begin wearing this watch out and about, it should become my new daily!

Thank you! I’ve bought a few watches now on eBay and I’ve had good luck thus far. The worst thing that’s happened to me is receiving a watch with a bad movement and having to have it fixed by a local watchmaker. But I take that into account when buying and make sure the price is fair to take any “what ifs” into account.

Exactly! Why ever pay retail? Also if I ever plan to sell the watch, it won’t be for as big of a loss as new.

Man that's a nice watch. I've been looking at the SPB297 which is a blue colorway with a textured, almost denim dial. I hope I can find a nice deal like you did! Bravo!
