Curiosity browsing

Does anybody else on here see a post and think that looks nice and immediately check out ebay or amazon to see how much?

I do.

The last couple of days I've seen and then checked out a few lovely seiko dress watches... I'm not even into dress watches🙂

Today I've checked out a book and an ingersoll watch.

I'm sure I'm not on my own.

Constantly 🙌

It’s been really great being exposed to watches that I have never seen before - maybe no so great for the ole wallet. On that note, I have discovered you can buy happiness and it occasionally comes with Prime two-day shipping 😂

I usually go to Joma first

I haven't gone down that route... yet

If you don't mind buying on the grey market, Jomashop has some of the best prices I have found, and they offer their own warranty. I got my Orient Mako II repaired no problem when the movement stopped working.

Yes. Whenever I see a watch I'm unfamiliar with I always look for the price even if I'm not interested in the particular one in question.

It's the main reason why I'm here. (This includes watch straps, by the way.)

It's a form of madness🥴

I even check out watches made of unattainium 😂

Staps and bracelets are on the list too

I posted on here the other day about replacement bracket and now my watch is on a new one

All the time... I need to stop doing that...😂

Chronograph 24 has many unobtainium watches🙂

This… know thy enemy (and his price).

Also helps others when discussing options.

Whenever I see a new watch that I like, I always check out the price just to get a ballpark estimate of whether or not it's something that I could ever contemplate buying.

Agreed. Chrono24 is the dangerous place to browse though I’ve generally found the buying experience good. Too many nice things, not enough money

Not unobtanium, merely brutally expensive on the secondary market. Though the results are similar for most of us

Very true and either way they stay out of my range
