This case is rated for 10 ATM.

The caseback is different and maybe the stem.  They are obviously made in the same factory.

The Bomax watch is only rated at 5ATM.  Could this be merely because they don't want to imply a warranty?  Wouldn't it be easier for the case manufacturer to crank out mass numbers all the same?

Any amateur watch makers care to take a stab at this?

From what I can figure out, it's not a "real" watch brand.  Maybe someone assembling small numbers for sale.  All this talk of photoshopping major brands is goofy. It isn't a badass watch in any way.  Photoshop it without a bracelet? Why?  Someone has done what I would, build a watch from parts and try to start up a watch company of my own or make lunch money.  I've got a Casio Duro, and I've got Invictas.  I'm interested in the case.

Yes.  An excellent gateway drug. 😁

I own an ISL-8.  It is an excellent watch of high quality.  I own several Chinese microbrand watches, SteelDive being my favorite.

What Marc gives you is quality control that Seiko wishes it had.  He works with a factory in China (we presume).  He designs the watch.  The company sends him samples, Marc corrects any deficiencies. And the the watch goes into production.  Marc has an Aviation Engineering Degree and worked as an engineer for years.  When Marc receives the watches, he inspects them.  You reap the benefit of his expertise.  You get serious customer service.  Unless you must have the cheapest watch, go with Long Island Watch.  It's a little bit more, but you will get the value every time.

I wear a watch with usable lume so when I wake up during the night, I can see the time.

I'm betting Steeldive.  I've got a blue one with logo.

You were just ... just ...thinking for yourself? But, the hype wore you down. Your snob buddies would think poorly of you. "Oh my ...he has a Pagani Design, must have fallen on hard times. Pitiful, just pitiful ..." Jody wasn't misleading you. YouTubers are NOT the watch community. They are, for the most part, anti snob. (I'm looking at you Jory.) TGV loves Casio ...and Rolex. He's not a snob. In TGV's latest video TGV pointed out a $160 USD homage of the Cartier Tank. Guess who makes it? Seiko! So, get off your high horse and grow a pair.
