The bomax name is probably a photoshop. Its a Seiko knock off. You can get them in Rolex too. You have to look close at all the pictures. cheap quartz and bad lume is the standard. from Clone watch store
found it. its nh35 Seiko movement and they sell it way under actual Seiko price. $120.00 And it actually says BoMaxon the dial. They usually photoshop it over the fake logo.
From what I can figure out, it's not a "real" watch brand. Maybe someone assembling small numbers for sale. All this talk of photoshopping major brands is goofy. It isn't a badass watch in any way. Photoshop it without a bracelet? Why? Someone has done what I would, build a watch from parts and try to start up a watch company of my own or make lunch money. I've got a Casio Duro, and I've got Invictas. I'm interested in the case.
The caseback is different and maybe the stem. They are obviously made in the same factory.
The Bomax watch is only rated at 5ATM. Could this be merely because they don't want to imply a warranty? Wouldn't it be easier for the case manufacturer to crank out mass numbers all the same?
Any amateur watch makers care to take a stab at this?
Got the watch in the mail. It looks excellent. Everything lines up. Good bezel action. Love the rubber strap. The lume isn't Seiko, but everything else is excellent.

The second hand is cool. 👍
It's funny how slow it circles.
Changed the Bezel insert to an Omega style ceramic. I think it looks great!
