How will you be using the watch?  Two very different options...I have that exact PRX and my wife has the Seitona...I wear the PRX as a dress watch and she wears the Seiko with everything

I plan to use it as my rotation for office watch. It also can be my dress watch for functions

I'd go PRX then...slides under a dress shirt cuff as it should

I predict the Seiko will win, and it’s a good looking watch.  that date window tho…

Well it depends on your existing collection to see what would fit (or what is missing).

Both models are new. So you don't need to hurry for any of them.

Both are great in their own class.

So make it depend on the price.

The Seiko is great but definatly too expensive. In Germany around 650.

Seiko is know these days that their rising their prices are not equal to their quality improvement. Although I love this watch. But....it's a quartz. There are other Solar Chronographs from Seiko Prospex starting at 250 (dropped from 450). So I would wait or look for offers online. Everything under 500 can be taken serious.

The PRX has an exquisit automatic movement the price is totally reasonable and stable.

So....if we talking about similiar rettail price, go for Tissot.

If you can get the Seiko for around 450, take the Seiko.

Thanks for the feedback, relly give me a second thought. Currently in my collection im missing dress & chrono. in terms of price point, both is exact same price in Malaysia.

I’ll sell you my speedtimer for a good price !! 😉 and then you can get the Prx…

·

Seiko for the office ,you can always time things when you get bored at work

·

I'd go with the Tissot, great finish for a relatively small price (compared with the quality).

·

Time to get a big boy watch and make a statement

my only comment on the Tissot is don’t dismiss the smaller version.  For me the large is a tad too large on my wrist and while the smaller one is angled unisex / ladies I think that’s nonsense.

An automatic Swiss made piece or quartz Japanese?  Given my hatred of batteries, that's a no brainer for me.

For your use, I would recommend the PRX. It is considerably thinner.
