Very nice 👌 👍 👏
Wow you really got the vintage bug!! Cool I’m still a coward to jump in the pool 😖
Very solid watch. It is amazing what is out there.

I used to think buying vintage was really tricky, but I have found it is actually a great way to add brands to my collection rather inexpensively compared to buying new. This was less than $100.

Yes, I am really enjoying my forays into the vintage market. Starting to look at maybe adding an Omega to my collection. It is in my comfort zone price range in the vintage market. 😁

Omega is tricky. Lots of watches cobbled together and sold as "genuine".

Thanks for the heads up. I have been doing more reading on buying in the vintage market. I already search for watches that show the movement in the pictures, as I had been cautious of getting a frankenwatch. However, I am pretty sure I already have one Bulova with the wrong hands. 😪

To me, it is a game of numbers. I am willing to take a chance to get a gem like this, even though it means I also get a lemon sometimes. I have several vintage purchases that really should have been sold as parts or repair instead of as running. 😂 I will probably either resell them as parts or repair on ebay to recoup some money or see if it would be worth it to get them repaired myself.

I had the same. I have learned mostly to avoid those now. I cleared out about eight watches at the end of the year. Some worked, some just "ticked". However, I have put some right and whoever has them next will get something out of them. I got in some parts today.
Another beauty to your collection. Well done!

Nice! I just found a vintage Certina from 1966 that is on its way. It was $90. There are really a lot of great deals in the vintage market.
