Birmingham Clock and Watch Fair Meetup
Wondered if anyone was going to this and fancied having a meetup for coffee at the museum cafe?
@Stricko, possibly @Scooby and I are heading down from the Derby/Nottingham area but it would be nice to meet others who were going too.

The Birmingham Clock and Watch Fair is held at the prestigious Motor cycle Museum's premium conference suites. We have two suites filled with stallholders buying and selling vintage and modern wrist watches, clocks, pocket watches, parts, tools, reference books and jewellery. We have around 100 good quality traders coming from all over the UK and the EU to sell their goods, so well worth a visit. The venue has free on site parking ,Wifi, and cafe facilities serving a great variety of food .
Our fair has now become the largest indoor event of its kind in the UK.
We offer a trade fair which is open to the public. We are not a show or exhibition. This is where the trade buy and sell. Come and be part of the largest dedicated watch and clock trade fair in the UK.

There was a guy there last time I went selling Dirty Dozen watches. They were so lovely!
Not sure my budget can stretch that far but I picked some lovely watches last time for well under £100.

I've put a start time of 8:30 so we can have a coffee before heading in at 9am when the ticket price is cheaper.
Can have a drink and some breakfast at the cafe after having a look round and you can talk me out of all the watches I want to buy 😆
I do hope we don't advertise this to our fellow crunchers as I don't want to be competing for all those bargains against them as they're a savvy lot (mind you the avent guard rubbish I'm into i shouldn't worry )

Would be amazing if you could make it and have 2 members of the Pack together! But I do understand it's a loooong way.
It's interesting just to walk around, even if you don't go home with anything.
We could meet early, have coffee, spend an hour or two having a wonder about and then have a coffee +/- food in the café after.
I'm debating bring some of my watches for people to look at (though I have little that's super interesting 😁).
Definitely interested, just a question of transport and finance at present.
