Is it me or are all dress watches around the 38mm case size? I am a bigger guy with. 7.25โ wrist and feel that 38mm is too small. I am looking to add a dress watch to the collection (especially if it is a salmon dial) but am having a hard time finding anything in the 40mm range.

Timex just released some in 40mm. Not much bigger but a bit. I suppose dress watches are by nature smaller, as to more easily fit under a shirt sleeve/cuff
Well we were just grumbling elsewhere on here that Hamilton do some great dress watches but they are all 40mm and too big. So I would suggest looking at the Hamilton range - and lucky you.

Obviously they have good Air Force and military heritage too!
There are 40mm dress watches out there - Seiko, Orient, Timex, Tissot, just to name a few brands.
Four decades ago all dress watches were 30 - 35 mm for everybody, it's just a matter of getting used to.
Longines has you covered with some sweet 40-42mm dress watches.
I'm 7.5" and 40s are ok but I prefer dress to be 35-38. Today's watch is 35 and only 8 high, and it's one of my favourites
Our grandfathers rocked 33mm watches and were cool with them. The size thing does not matter. Orient Bambino's are probably what your looking for
It's not too small, it's still massive by historical standards. I know opinions change, but there's nothing wrong with a smaller dress watch. It just takes a bit to get used to the size.
Lorier Zephyr.
Tonneau cases wear bigger.
$500US, best deal IMO, have to wait for restock. But a classic, guilloche dial, two hander.
I have the same size wrist as you and I would say 36-38mm is perfect for a dress watch
