Just seriously got into watches 1/2022 after breaking free from the apple watch chains. Day job as an imaging tech, night/ side job as a DJ. Love wearing my watches to both and everything in between.
Got this in yesterday. Was gently used, and a price I was comfortable with on eBay. I was scared 36mm would be too small on my 7.25 wrist but I’m real...
I will have to admit that when I started getting into this hobby at the start of the year, I was still in the big watch mode. I had a 43mm watch to start until I learned more and saw more watches. I have an average wrist at 7.25 but now my 3 main watches are 36,39, 40mm. Also noticed looking online and here, that even people with large wrists are pulling off smaller watches again.

Congrats on your purchase. I purchased my Ranger from my local AD about one month ago. I am very happy with the watch. Like you said, looks way better in person. I love the simplicity of the dial. I have similar complaints about the painted dial but I'm really happy the watch is almost fully brushed since I am a clumsy bastard, so the scratches have been well hidden for me so far. I have gotten some "butt plug" jokes about my hour hand from a couple friends who are into watches, also my wife making fun of it now. But I am personally fine with it. And just keep trying to tell myself it is a warrior arrow hahaha. I'm jealous about your 0.5 accuracy. But I should not complain since I am getting +1 a day since I purchased mine. Enjoy fellow Ranger owner!
I would go for the speedtimer if I was in your situation. I used to have the one with the gold dial. It was super comfortable and loved how it looked. I also appreciated it was solar quartz so it would be one less mechanical watch I had to worry about setting/winding. I ended up selling to fund towards another watch, but hope to buy that panda one in the future.

You are definitely not alone hahahaha. Besides movies and shows, I try to figure out what watches sports personalities wear off the court/field as well.
