I think they need to focus on some more original designs and I’d buy one again cause they’re actually good bang for your buck

I smell a Tudor owner. I don't understand how anyone can put Hublot in the bottom half. I think ALS would be offended to be called cool.

Breitling should be three rungs down...and Seiko and Tissot 'cool'? Perhaps good value (in some cases) but cool...nope.

Tag Heuer though - and i'm aware of the flak it's getting - IS cool!! Will Smith, Obama, Clint Eastwood, Uma Thurman...you take it up with them if you think I'm wrong.

What also should be up in the sub zero/fridge regions: Scurfa, Braun and the Glashutte Original Seventies :)

Ahah not yet but I will, I still think for the time being Tudor isn’t a flex brand like Rolex it’s bought by enthusiasts more than anything.

I know the Nico hype with G-Shock but it’s such an unpretentious watch it just does it job well and is fun at the same time. Tudor as said mainly still enthusiasts rather than people flexing, Breitling I might be a bit biased but I always saw them as cool and rugged. Seiko cause the dials are class and it provides the essence of a mechanical watch for minimal cost and Tissot I wanted to initially put in uncool but with the PRX and Sideral they are going places, plus their new Seastars are good too, Tag Heuer is usually worn by golfers plus they charge too much for the product, up the movements or reduce the price.

I like this idea, it takes the value and popularity out of the equation. Of course it makes it entirely subjective and there aren't many on that board that I agree with. I might have a go at this later.

Please do I welcome other opinions and perspectives it’s always interesting to discuss, my opinion is worth no more than anyone else’s this is just for fun. And this list in now way reflects the build quality or heritage just the perspective of the brand it’s why I put AP so low cause so many rappers flex and ruin them.

Ah yes, this is merely coolness. Tudor is less stodgy than Rolex, that is for sure.

Panerai is so five minutes ago. Daniel Wellington and MVMT being arguably cool seems more recent than Panerai not being a stale meme.

Of course and nothing against anyone who likes these brands I happen to love Omega and Rolex but Omegas marketing is a bit cringe which is why I put it in uncool. I was torn with Panerai but ultimately to me it’s still a cool brand and I hope they’ll make a comeback.

Well this passed the time during a dull teams call. I think I've captured everything that registers in my world bar Russian or micro-type brands. Obviously my view of how I see things, and note that most of my watches sit in the bottom half 😮 so just because i like the watch doesn't mean I think the Brand is particularly cool. Hopefully this thread is long dead so I won't be roasted. Anyway, I need to go do the Tesco shop now, so... laters!
