Thoughts on Longines…

I live in Kentucky and watch a lot of horses racing (imagine that) and have noticed that Longines has sponsored so many races, including the Breeders Cup! So, Crunch Crew, what are your thoughts on Longines?

Tons of heritage and great value for money, can't go wrong with longines.

Can't go wrong with longines, all bases covered, wether your after a well put together diver, nice dress watch, good back catalogue recreations, plus decent movements and not too pricey for a decent Swiss watch with a long history. I've got two and they are great watches.

Longines rocks.  They are a luxury brand since 1832. Their catalog is as long and thorough as an east coast diner menu.  They have so many good quality Swiss made watches and styles for everyone's taste.  The watches are competitively priced and look great.

Good quality Swiss brand I’ve done a review of my Hyroconquest if you are interested

Longines is great! A great place to start for someone that is looking to begin their Swiss watch journey, but also having to keep in mind a limited budget. Check out the new Longines Spirit 37mm.

Don't know if it's true but the story I've heard is that when Swatch was trying to figure out how to position its brands, they couldn't decide whether Omega or Longines should be more premium. They only decided on Omega because the name was easier to pronounce in more languages similar to Rolex.

Longines has been killing it on several levels.  I love how they are drawing on their historic roots for many of the new releases.

Some of their vintage models are nice: Admiral. Newer ones are the Master Collection. Make sure you look at all the variants in their collections.
