Dive Watch / 3 different

Hi Guys! 👋

this is my first post here.

Here we have my 3 different Dive🤿 watches ⌚️.
Solar digital, mechanical & quartz. affordable beater, luxury & vintage. Resin-rubber, 904 stainless steel & Pvd. For the Lume we have LED backlight, Chromalight & tritium.

okay so just for fun let’s say you don’t have a dive computer , which one would you take? Or which one do you guys like of the 3?

please let me know what you think of them?
thx

I'll just say that I find this much more interesting that the rather common array of utterly interchangeable steel, braceleted, black-dialed automatics.

In this fluke scenario where I have to entrust my life to one, I'm going G-Shock.

·

Looks wise the steel.

But can't beat g shock for toughness and features. I'd just go with a different model.

·

You can't go wrong with a sub, but I'd personally take the Tag Heuer 😍

·

Welcome to the club 😁

·

Tag heuer For me. like the look of it

·

Take the sub - just don;t smash it against the ladder rails getting back into the boat (yes, I did.....)

·

I absolutely lone the FROGMAN

·

I'd go with the Rolex, I got a bunch of g shocks already and I like variety 🤪

·

Welcome! The Frogman is an absolute beast of a watch. Love it!

·

I trust the G-Shock.

I trust the G-Shock.

Safest choice

·

Welcome to WC! I love all 3 watches.
But, going on a dive trip, I would take the G-Shock..because it’s a G-SHOCK!!!

Thank u! Me too, if my life depended on it , I think the frogman is the safest choice!

Did the same with my Doxa. But the mark reminds me of that dive every time I notice it and then I don't mind (because it was Fiji,  and bluddy gorgeous)

007's Tag for the win!

Good eye there! My living daylights tag

·

I think that the TAG is really cool. A watch that not everybody has and definitely a conversation starter!

Even though the dial is rather salient the watch is quite modest. I really like that!

Thx! It’s slips under the radar a lot , not many people really notice it, but they ones that usually know , they know, it’s actually the James Bond living daylights watch.

Love the Frogman!

Yes as do I , but must be the older digital versions, not really a fan of the modern ones.🐸

I hear you. The modern ones are big, heavy and not for everyone.

I’m not sure about the modern analogue ones… I’ve nothing against analogue watches at all, but for a Frogman? The jury is still still deliberating, your Honour….

The analogue ones have just lost me! It’s like something else, less functions and looks harder to read , which beats the purpose as the frogman is a drive/tool watch , they only one that has caught my eye recent versons was the collaboration with the royal navy .

·

Yes! I thought the Royal Navy one looked great too!

I think you’re right re analogue 🐸. But for the time, too hard to read. Whilst the hands move out of the way and point to whatever their doing, it’s not the same… What was Casio thinking??

Although I think the frogman meet all the ISO standards for drivers , most real drivers use dive computers and probably an analogue watch as a back up tool.
the most famous dive watches of course submariner , seamaster etc, so I think Casio wanted to move the frogman line a bit higher up, they changed to analogue and jacked up the price too, don’t think that many people would pay over so much for a digital watch?

No that's true.

Although... I've seen the "Men In Burning Red" (GWF-1000RD-4) go for prices around $4,000!
