What do you think about these new Orients?? I love them all

Not for me. But if you like them that's all that matters 👍

·

I have never been a fan of the open heart design tbh but I am a fan of orient. So I know it's done well and at a good price

·

They'd be great if they would plug up those holes.

Now there's something interesting. We've seen open hearts on Seiko dress watches, maybe even on Orients, with the overlapping subdial, but not on a sports watch. This must be a new niche - taking the restrained sports watch concept and flipping it on its head. It reminds me of Tissot Gentleman that dropped his trousers and you can see red polka dot pants underneath, but the gentleman is still keeping straight face and stiff upper lip.

It's very niche, though. It doesn't please the "symmetry crowd" who hate date windows or the "calendar folk" who need a date, be it window or pointer. But it will get attention, since there isn't more movement on any other watch until some of the crazy Zeniths way up.

·

Not a big fan of the little bit of open work on the dial, but Orient are great 😊

·

Like many not usually an open heart fan, but I think I could make an exception with this one, and usually a watch much better in your hand than stock photos anyway.

The concentric circle art deco design reminds me of my Kurono Toki

I’m digging the gold one!

Not a fan of open heart watches.

Imagine if we walked around with an open heart....

No thanks 👍

I need one of these in my life too 😍

Open heart not for me

·

Love them, especially the red and the gold. The whole vibe of Orient seems to emphasise making conventional watches but always with something a bit expressive about them, something that's just different enough to express a little personality.

·

A little too bold for me, but I’m sure there are those who will like the variety offered here! Reminds me of the new colours for the omega aqua terra (albeit with a very different design of course).

·

The gold one. As for the design, I appreciate the ‘eclipse’ between the cardiac incision and second hand sub-dial.

·

I’ll pass…not my cup of tea

·

Looks a bit like what Bulova has been making lately….

·

Green color way is beautiful, not a fan of the dial (too busy for my boring self) but it's a really nice watch

Exactly, I rest my case 🤣😂

·

I think I need at least 1 open heart in my collection

I'm looking at a couple orients for my first moonphase

·

I would be interested if it was smaller

·

I want these to have a third circle for symmetry

Open-heart watches make me cringe. Sure, I want to look at the undecorated parts of a $50 mass produced movement all day.

Makes as much sense as a sapphire caseback on a Miyota 8xxx series or, God forbid, a NH35 series.

All of the above are akin to staring at an overly tanned, obese 80 year old man who has lost 100# and is trolling the beach in a shiny Speedo.

Just because it can be done, does not mean it should be.

Excuse me while I go vomit.

Unusual. The green is not bad
