First gift watch ❤️
I am absolutely in love with this Casio A500 which my girlfriend gifted me yesterday. It has that coolnes that vintage Casio models have, the same features as the "Royale" and i think it's more versatile because of it's looks. The only thing that lacks is the wr, but since i almost never wet my watches, i am ok with it.

Amazing! Almost 40 years of memories! I mean isn't that the best about watches that are gifted to us from a dear person? You can look at it and remember exactly how you felted at that exact moment, even after so many years.

You are correct. I still remember her walking out of the store and giving it to. I had never had such an expensive watch in my life. I was awestruck. In 1973, I believe that it was just under $200. Great Watch. Great memories.

I really enjoy my Royale. I wear it while travelling almost exclusively. That said I would strongly consider swapping it for that model instead. If the case was metal it'd be a done deal.

I use the Royale mostly for training and activities due to its bigger and easy to push buttons. This one i think goes with almost everything, something like A168. I agree about the metal case though.

Sorry to hear. It worked for me because i always tell her and show her what watches i like and enjoy. This one specifically isn't available here in my country and when i saw it on a local website for used things i showed it to her i she said "oo you don't need more watches" bla bla and 2 days after it...well i got it 😁 I hope next time it works well for you to my friend.
Well I don't expect anybody to get me a watch because I'm very picky when it comes to this. Since I got into this hobby I gotten very picky and exclusive I don't know whats worst this or collecting shoes? but anyways great pick for you there enjoy it and cherish it forever because its something you will always remember and look back.
