Thoughts ? I just came across this Grand Seiko SBGE295 it’s an expensive piece and normally I am not drawn to Grand Seiko. It’s a 44mm case GMT Spring drive 9R66, finished imaculately. The braclet is much better quality than normal. I actually love the ceramic bezel. Have seen it on a green rubber strap and it looks amazing.

I do not have the wrist for it, but it is a very cool watch.

Ditto.
Great dial and movement - paired with a too large and brash GS case.

It sits nice on an 18cm wrist
I imagine, but for those with 16-17, not as much. Though, not all wrists are shaped the same.
It's a big watch and will not be as comfortable as one around 40mm. Wear a cheapie auto in that size to see if you could stand it. Otherwise it will be a watch box queen.

No issue for me my wrist size is 7.75
If GS started making more in the 36-39mm range, they’d print money 💰
I have the black dial version and really like it. The green is also spectacular.
I bet that would look amazing on a brown or light brown leather strap. I don’t love power meters on dials but this one is more subtle than most. One of these days I’d like to own a spring drive GS. The accuracy on paper, and I assume in reality, is incredible. Have fun deciding!
This watch would dwarf my wrist but that deep dark green dial is absolutely stunning
I prefer the blue one slightly (strange for me) but for me nobody touches GS' GMTs

The watch reviewer didn't buy it himself, it was a gift to him (lucky guy!), so keep that in mind.
Was about to post the above video, which I myself stumbled upon yesterday. I'd say he's one of the better watch youtubers.
It seems a surprising watch. For me, just like in the video, it's a watch I would have skipped past in the catalogue (and I am pro-GS) as I've not really clicked with the concept of a GS diver, and they _are_ big. But I have to admit it seems to have something, something that defies its paper specs. Like, it shouldn't work, but somehow it does :)

Yeah my thoughts exactly that’s how I cam across this GS
If you have already tried it, wears well on your wrist, and you think you will wear it often, go for it. Beautiful piece.

I feel you, I agree this is without a doubt very cool! 💪🏼
yeah they seemed to have raised their prices like 500-1000 each year for the past 2-3 years and now they are the same as if not higher priced than omegas. :(
