If you’re going to jump in, this is one way to make a big splash, LOL.
I’ve got the smaller version that my wife wears but I haven’t been able to try the big version you have. I’ve heard it feels quite large on the wrist though. Were you able to try both before deciding?

It is a larger watch but wears comfortably and feels like a 42 rather than a 44mm. I think the reason is the domed back crstal and the excellent bracelet. For me the struggle was not with the panodate but blue/green. Time will tell. I have a couple blue watches already.
You also don’t have a GMT and a square or rectangular Watch..
Ha. Too funny. I have a TAG Monaco but the case digs my wrist. Not sure about a gmt. Used to travel a lot. 136 to Asia and 30+ to the EU. All work. A gmt would have been perfect. I hate to travel now so not sure what I would set the second time one to?
I really love it when somebody chooses a GO over a Rolex. The superior finishing and unique design traits are something that I really cherish. And who doesn’t love staring at all that phenomenal German engineering on the caseback side like the swan neck regulator, three quarter plate & Glashutte Stripes! 🤤 Congratulations and wear it in good health!

Thank you for the comment. I am trying focusing on brands that make in the 1000’s and not 100000’s or more. The panodate is something that really attracts me. Also the 21k gold weight automatic rotor. I think more people would buy GO if there was an AD and they could hold one. I got lucky in 2006 there was an AD were I lived. Very good experiences with GO. My IWC on the other hand is 6weeks old and already in for warrante service.
I have noticed more and more GO around here, it is fantastic to see. I view them as the most underrated brand. Congratulations on the new watch, it is a stunner

I too love the Panorama Date complication. I’ve come to cherish it on my PanoMaticInverse. I personally think GO executes it better than Lange too. If you motive on a GO the numerals are on the same plane. With a Lange, they’re on two separate levels- that’s the reason why they’re framed on a Lange vs. a GO. It is so nice knowing that GO doesn’t make more than a few hundred of each model every year. I think your point about local GO AD’s is absolutely true. Many people don’t live close to a GO dealer this having no opportunity to get hands on with one- and this hurts sales.
Been collecting watches off and on since 1990. Love the German 3/4 plate watches and other “manufacture calibers”. A steel case with a beautiful movement is a sweet spot for me.

No I see that you go it with panorama date. Amazing
Congratulations!
You’ll have to let us know in a couple of months how you and the watch are bonding.
Also if the WC community have found other ways to drain your pension fund….😉
The GO Panorama Date is definitely on my top 10 favorite list.
