I picked up this recently, (photo was just a try on). I thought it was the best one in the lineup. Plus, I like that I can change the strap.

Whats the lug width on the straps for it?
They're 16mm so you need to get straps that are made specifically for G Shocks (see my link above for rubber strap from Aliexpress) or get the strap adaptors like the original poster has.

They measure 20mm at the adapters.

No, it can be taken off along with the adapters or keep the adapters and add your own strap.

I'm not sure what you mean. The strap works no differently to any other strap on any watch. The lug width is just narrower than the strap.
