Fun post idea but needs photos. Currently I'd say...

1. Grand Seiko SLGA007 "Lake Suwa"
2. Cartier Santos Medium
3. Jaeger-LeCoutre Reverso Classic on brown leather
4. Omega Seamaster Railmaster with black/grey dial on the herringbone strap
5. something quirky with bronze case, moonphase, single hand, etc. Meistersinger has various combinations but none quite do the trick for me yet. Maybe a future release.
6. Bonus: Timex Ironman as a beater when working with tools or trying to be ultra low-key. A lady-sized one was my first watch at age 6 and carried me though most of my teen years. Many fond memories of adventures and mischief while wearing it.

Already got the first two as an anniversary pair. Now need a milestone excuse for #3. Probably take a while to reach #5 at my current pace and surely the market and my desires will change. I could be content stopping at any point.

Well, I would first include the same Rolex Datejust as you had on your list. I already have an homage watch in my collection for just that model, right down to the cliched blue; the Islander #ISL-38. 😂

A Grand Seiko Spring Drive would be on my list, and I know that is somewhat vague, but I almost wouldn't care which one as long as it was a spring drive. 😀

A Longines Hydroconquest. I just really like the look of this watch.

A Cartier Tank. I am a big film noir fan and that watch shows up in some of my favorite Cary Grant movies.

Finally, a Hamilton Ventura, because Men in Black. 😀

2.  Dark manta turtle on some jubilee bracelet / stock rubber strap

5.   Zenith chronomaster openheart grey silver dial with grey leather strap

I like rubber straps, they kinda play down the watches making them less eye catching, less recognisable in a way.
