I could see myself distilling my vast (7 watches) to just these three. One blue quartz tuna, a champagne dress grand seiko, and a rare auto black seiko flightmaster.
I love mine. As boring the colors may seem, when I wear this watch, I feels kinda flashy. I'm not one to beholden to the concept of keepers, but this one is special
I went almost a year owning only an omega globemaster. I can see myself doing that again. I miss that watch
I've had a citizen eco drive since 2008. I don't wear if often at all these days and it lives on top of my dresser with only indirect light hitting it. In my 15 years of ownership, I have no recollection of it dying. I have 3 solar watches in total and outside of staying on top of my dresser, I do nothing to keep them running. They are very convenient.
As a watch enthusiast, I hate setting watches. Quartz and solar are so convenient. For for collection, I don't think I can go more than 2 autos. The rest are quartz or solar. I also love accuracy.
I'm currently in a weird spot. I just purchased a watch and still honeymooning. I know it was a good purchase because I'm not really hunting right now, just casually browsing, which is still dangerous.
At new years I removed instagram from my phone. I find watchcrunch to not be as predatory as instagram cause the lack of ads and more discussion based. The next step is to remove eBay. But I'm selling something, but when that happens, and I remove ebay, hopefully my wants will subside and I can better enjoy.
With that said, I have a long term goal to add "one more" to the collection, but trying to be patient with it. 2 and a half year timeline.
