Gills anyone?

What do you think of these 'gills' on the new Serica.

I think they are fairly cool and will start being used by others.

Pics from Fratello - read up on them in their review.

Yes please!

That’s…different. Going to cogitate on that for a bit.

·

I like them, but they may not work for all case styles unless they had different textures.

·

Reminds me of an electric razor blade attachment

·

I think they look terrible, and I can't see anyone else wasting time/money on it.

I get why a new brand would go that route, it's something "different", but not all things different are good.

·

The connection between case and strap works, I'm just not sold on the design - I'd prefer it plain. But then I dislike fluted or coin edge bezels.

·

I find the idea very cool and especially like the grill look, it's very unique. They lend the watch a completely new look and the fact they're removable make them a nice stylistic option/add-on.

·

Love them, want them. Uber cool 😎 going to look them up,cheers.

Victorian modesty returns to make little crotch gussets!

So covered lugs require two separate pieces because more options? They look to be a major hassle to install and easy to lose, which is fine as I'm not sold on the look. But apparently people want proprietary curved end links on leather bands now for some reason.

First time i saw them i hated them... Now i feel they just look cool af. They give a Great Gatsby feeling

I think it's about time that someone came up with this... Always find those gaping gaps in between the straps n the sides of the case... A little too... Obvious to overlook... 😅
