Meetup next Saturday (8/5) - Calling All SF Bay Area Crunchers and Beyond!!
Greetings, salutations and aloha, dear Crunchers! Hope everyone is keeping cool and having a fun weekend.
A small group of us are planning a meetup at Topper in Burlingame next Saturday - 8/5 at noon to hang and geek out at all their amazing watches. You may know Topper is an AD for GS, Breitling, Moser, Omega, Hamilton, Zodiak…and a handful of other excellent brands. I’ve contacted Russ (owner) and he’s excited to have us! Thereafter, we can all grab a bite or coffee locally and rap watches, travel, movies, cars…anything! Bring watch(es) you’d like to share/discuss🤙

She's sitting here next to me and sends Love right on back. Home renovation has been all consuming but long overdue. Still peeking at my flight miles etc anyway to see if I can pull off a trip to the bay area though it looks like flights aren't very competitive for next weekend. At the very least looking forward to seeing pictures.

Such a fun and amazing time meeting everyone! Huge kudos and thanks to @AlohaBrah21 for making it happen and to all who attended. Everyone had such amazing watches and I loved hearing the stories behind them. I cannot wait for our next meetup!

Who brought the Shrek Watch!? How did I not see this epic piece!
That was mine :D Found it at a thrift store for a dollar and decided to restore it. Made me laugh seeing his jaw being the dust cover. The fun part was figuring out that Shrek's ears were mode cycle and time/date set pushers.
Simple yet clever module design. Battery is sandwiched between the circuit board and plastic housing to prevent tampering. No risk of a child opening this nor accidentally swallowing the button cell battery.
