Nevada Grenchen. They have been knocking it out with their re-releases
Oak and Oscar prolly won't win due to the revived NG...but I can dig their classic field. Simple, clean, legible, elegantly tough.
And it has a sandwich dial. 🤌🏻
And they are assembled, regulated, etc in Chicago, so go USA!!
Yeah, very tough match-up for my second home town based brand.
Tough choice. Very different but I really respect both.
Nivada Grenchen for me, even if I am not sure about their line-up.

This was like circula versus Baltic. Circula got a kicking as Baltic much larger with a bigger fan base even though circula make the better pieces. I voted Nevada Grenchen here as I'm keen to get one. Haven't heard of the US brand. But looking at their field watch it looks outstanding.
Another microbrand I had not heard of (Nivada Grenchen), really nice pieces so they got my vote

Hard match up due to NG’s brand notoriety but such a great brand in Oak & Oscar!
Bit of a bummer here with this matchup. I know NG has some history and a good following, but #oakandoscar really make some nice looking watches and I feel will grow into one of the new great American brands.
I remember when O&O came out and they were the talk of the town
😬 tough one. I feel compelled to support another homegrown Chicago brand in Oak and Oscar… but their designs just don’t do much for me personally :/ Whereas I’d be all over just about anything in the NG lineup. (Except maybe the Pac-Man Depthmaster).
