Norwuain is on the more expensive side, but they use better movements.

Norqain a great but are they a micro? Aren't they owned by a major brand? I've seen them ar Ben Bridge.

Still independently owned and run, but they have had some heavy hitters on their board which has helped them with distribution. It is a fair question to question if they are too big at this point for the scope of the tournament.

Fully respect what Norquain is doing but Jack Mason brings up models I would consider buying if I had to choose between the two.

This might be the worst reason ever, but a Texas watch company releasing this, limited collab or not, it's still my vote..👀🤏🏻😉

😂 Is it trending towards some other "fun" brands? Yes.

But the movement is solid. And it is close to a classic "root beer" colorway, just it's got 23 flavors...IFYKYK.

Having had the chance to play with this one in person…I get it. Awesome watch.

When you look at the quanity of models, wise is pretty much equal in terms of numbers. So are a lot of other brands in this competition, ie, they have lots of models. 😉

One of my favorite pickups last year.

The ONLY reason I didn't was currently saving for a unit Sangin.

But the Texan in me was 😭 😂.

These are getting tougher. #norqain got my vote on this one. slightly winning out because I feel that Norqain has done a better job of having a "look" that is their own. I'm not saying JM hasn't attempted to do the same, just that I feel Norqain has done a better job. It also doesn't hurt that the job they've done appeals to me more than JM.

I keep checking back thinking JM has a comeback in them. Perhaps the most surprising result so far given the audience preference for less expensive models.

I first voted norqain but considering they are procey and after checking jack mason's collection. Seriously getting a selita based watch for 800 is for me bang for buck so I changed my vote

I've my eye on the Norqain WILD ONE GOLD 42MM LIMITED EDITION. But at that price I decided instead on a pre-owned 18k red gold IWC Portofino to scratch my gold itch.

I've been very happy with the choice. I love the day date complication and very impressed with the 5 day reserve and accuracy on this hand wound model.

What do you think about Dufrane watches? Another Texan (Austin) brand.

Have looked at the Mabry field and the Barton Springs.

Haven't gone for them yet, but I watch various used and/or b/s/t forums and if I see one for sale would snatch it up real quick.

Steve makes solid pieces. I have several. I have never been disappointed in anything I've bought from them.

I also just pre-ordered their upcoming GMT model.
