1968 Omega 18k Constellation "C"

The strap is a buttery soft Horween shell cordovan and this is, hand's down. my most comfortable watch. Perfect weight and it feels like velvet on the wrist.

Great watch. The date only is so much cleaner look than day date, which I have, IMO. I like the this C case a lot and the fluted bezel.

Gorgeous watch.  And the strap is lovely match to the watch.

Trying to learn about vintage watches before I get one - hopefully in the next few months!

Thank you for sharing.

Looks stunning .... Somehow feel a deployant clasp will have completed this better 😅

I think @WatchYourIntruder would agree with me that watch design peaked in this era, and that Omega was at the forefront with a small number of other brands.  In a few years watches would remain interesting, but have a certain coarseness that this piece lacks.  It is a looker.

Love the bezel and color! I will be looking for a pie pan dial version when I’m going for my constellation.
