Longines warranty and service
Reunited with this beaut after being serviced for over a month.
I can say I’ve experienced a fast and hassle-free customer service from Longines after sending this watch back to them as I saw a ding on the minute hand. Given that I reside in Asia, I was surprised that they were able to send the parts for the replacement and completing the service within the given time frame.
Ofc, it’s preferable that you don’t need or have to send your newly purchased watch back. But now I have it again, can’t really complain. Came back looking like brand new.
Personally, this reinforced my belief in buying from AD/boutique just for the peace of mind in case something bad happens. 😅

Tbh, I forgot how the watch felt like sitting on my wrist and how thin it was compared to other models I have tried with the same style/complication.

I find myself drawn toward this brand and possibly the model you have. Can you please shed some additional light on your experience with this watch. Is it worth further consideration and more importantly, me purchasing one?
Is that the 34 or 41 mil?
I have a Conquest Classic I had to send in for a regular service about a year ago through Tourneau and the watch came back in perfect condition. Scratches were all buffed out and the movement is well within COSC standards. They did a great job.

The case back says L2.785.4 but if I remember that’s not the entire number.
The model is Conquest Classic Automatic 40mm.
They can be had used for well under $1k if you hunt around. Grabbed it about 18 months back and I like it more than I thought I would. I consider selling it on occasion and then I try it on and change my mind.

This is my first Swiss watch and I’m no expert. All I can say is I’ve never seen a watch that I really liked at this price point excluding some watches from micro/independent brands.
Sits on my wrist comfortably and thin. Some people say it can wear bigger and I agree. In the photo, I have the 41mm with 7.25-7.5 inch wrist. The bracelet has a good taper and doesn’t pull any hair lol only downside is it doesn’t have micro adjustment since it has butterfly clasp. I still got a perfect fit though bc of the half links.
Gives me +5/day with the L888.5 movement from Longines, if this is anything important to you.
Try it on and see, maybe it is for you, maybe it is not. If only the green dial has a green calendar/date too, I’d switch in a heartbeat 😂
