I do that with everything. I have a pretty extensive and varied model train collection. I also have diecast model planes, pocket knives and 6 aquariums. I won't admit to how many putters are in the basement, along side the 3 full sets of irons. For me, it's all about having fun and enjoying the journey. "The only difference between men and boys, is the price of their toys." Haha
Thanks for noticing. I was thinking about that and started to recognize that my entire life is eclectic. As for Aliexpress specifically, I think they're just fun and I can have a wide variety of pieces without a big investment. I have only been buying them for about a year but have to say, I'm impressed with the product and honestly believe they are good value.
I would say the patina is not genuine, as this is pretty much the way it was when I bought it. As for the hands, I'm going to take your word for it, I am by no means an expert. I just simply buy what I like.
