I love the watch but since I can't even get by without a date window... I'd struggle not being able to read the time 😂 Definitely CW deserve massive credit for creating this mechanical marvel at the price they're selling it. 👏
100% is one you get out your sleeve, stare at and play with for a minute, put away again and realise you have not looked at the time.
I totally feel that! Honestly it really needs the dial to set the time and then chime it when you want to know. very pretty though, especially the pale blue one I saw recently 😍

I agree with John, Ed @EdWhite1964 and the rest of his personalities that the watch looks more expensive than it costs. I love the fact that Christopher Ward designed the watch with the chime and hammer mechanism above the dial, very much in the style of MB&F, Romaine Guttier and F. Moser. It takes a good stare to tell the time due to the lack of contrast on the watch face but with that beautiful chime to remind you of the top of the hour, who needs to read the watch. When was the last time you had a meeting scheduled for 10:41?
I may very well jump on the bel canto train tomorrow.
At some point, I feel like all of us will have a watch that we buy and say "well why would I ever need the time when I have this instead?"
