I'm excited to see them in the metal at the show in March (British Watchmakers). I've promised the wife I won't buy a new watch... But, you know 🤞

commented on Orient Bambino; who else still love their Bambino? ·

I loved my Bambino. I'm a big fan of wearing a dress watch casually. I think they look great! I loved this so much, I went searching for an upgraded version and found the Omega Seamaster 1948 London Olympics special edition. See the similarity? 🤓

Seamaster 1942 London Olympics special edition.

I'm not, but my wife is saving for a JLC Master Control. I'm going to be pretty jealous when she buys it. Especially since it was once my grail watch 😑

I always wanted a Grand Seiko but couldn't find the right one. As soon as I tried this on, I knew. The titanium looks as good as polished steel but light and so comfortable. The spring drive is awesome, especially seeing the power reserve (which I previously thought I didn't like). The dial is ridiculously beautiful. I can't recommend it enough!

Haha. Yep. Desk diver all the way!

Thanks. I specifically wanted Arabic numerals, a clean face and small seconds, just as close to my Bambino as possible. The Omega Seamaster 1948s were perfect for me.
