If you wanted a ring that’s safe to wear at work I recommend Tungsten Carbide , diamond tough and crush proof , unless your worried about stripping the skin off your fingerbone at work depending on your occupation

Actually my wedding band is Tungsten. I leave it home mostly so it doesn’t get lost. I work in the medical field and take my ring and watch off during procedures. Had a fair few of the silicone ones go missing, and I would be devastated if my wedding band had that happen. It’s not expensive, but it’s very sentimental. Also don’t wear a nice watch to work for the same reasons. Do love the tungsten though. Hardly a scratch on it 👍
