Do you have an absolute favorite watch?

If you do how do you wear your other watches while constantly missing/wishing you had that one on? That’s what keeps me from expanding my collection, I always want my favorite with me like it’s my life companion. 🤔💭

I had that feeling when I first got my submariner. Everytime I put on my other watches, I think about that sub. After a couple of month, I fixed it by buying an equally amazing Seamaster. Now I don’t miss my sub that much 😂. The sub can finally sit in the box.

Understood thanks for sharing!

My IWC Mark XX 😀. I have multiple straps to keep the variety from rubber to leather to bracelet. I can’t get enough of it!

Oh, man. That’s like asking me which child is my favorite. My daughter... 🤫

Kidding! Love all the kids equally! I don’t think I can pick one watch either. Haha

Nice! This is on my short list. The bracelet with quick adjust is amazing.

I pretty much wear one of two watches. Most of the times it's the Explorer II, that's probably 70% of my year right there, another 20% goes to my white DateJust, and the rest is split amongst my other watches and occasional loaner from a friend. I don't feel bad about not wearing my other watches because if I really wanted to wear them I would, I'd just rather wear this almost any day.

Good insight!

If your anything like me it depends on the day who’s my favorite child 😂

The AT at 38.5mm with yellow gold bezel, indices, hands on a Barton silicone elite strap is so comfortable and so good looking it rotates in far more often than the others. I would get another one in a different color...is that wierd??

I enjoyed my AT when I had one. Loved the versatility with all the different, I should have gotten 38mm the 41 ended up being too wide and thick for me.

I don’t have just one favorite of all time… yet. I go through phases. Right now, my Hamilton Khaki Field Expedition is my favorite

·

I probably have a favorite, but it's not quite perfect. No watch can be all things at once.

For me, a big part of the fun of watches is the wide variety, and coming back to a favorite after a while just makes me appreciate it more.

My Breitling Transocean Worldtimer and Breitling Navitimer 1461 4 year annual calendar watch both presents from my wife. I wear other watches but those two remain my favourite, one for travel the other for special events.

·

Strangely I don't

·

I have a favorite that I'm married to. She's my favorite and gets the majority of wrist time. But I have plenty of mistresses on the side!

I currently don't actually... I love all my watches for different reasons. There are definitely degrees to that love though, but none really stand out currently as the clear winner! I simply rotate through them depending on day/occasion/mood. So on any given day I could switch between 2 to 3 watches! So even if I had an absolute winner, I'd probably still end up giving them all a decent go throughout the week 😊

I have several watches I like the most but my favorite is more of a style, that being a dive type watch. I know that’s like florals in spring, groundbreaking!

My GSAR has been on my wrist the vast majority of the last year, but the watches I have are all intended to fit slightly different roles. I wear my favorite the most, but when the day calls for a different kind of watch, I swap. This means some of them get called upon fairly rarely, but I also like to break up some of the GSAR streaks with another watch just because I can sometimes.

The GSAR's is a general use that works for most things, my Khaki Auto is less aggressive and thinner, my g shock square is for rough jobs when gloves or sleeves will need to go over my wrist easily, my mudmaster is for rough jobs when I have space for a big watch, and my new marathon navigator is going to be a slim, tritium, quartz option that's something of a jack of all trades pick with a second timezone bezel for traveling and days where I really don't know what I'm getting into.

I do have my Rangeman and old navigator that have been somewhat replaced in their roles but the mudmaster and new navigator, so I've yet to decide if I will try to find specific niches for them or try to sell them even though both have some wear on them.

Nice one for certain situations. 🤔

YES!

I had a Rolex 1655 Explorer II back in the day and LOVED THAT WATCH! But the prices got just plain stupid and I sold it...and missed it terribly.

Then I discovered this OLKO Special Edition of the Steinhart Ocean 39 GMT - a nearly identical homage to that old Rolex. It has the look I absolutely adore - yet it is, in so many ways, a vastly superior watch to that old 70s Rolex.

It almost never leaves my wrist...
