I think that's what's great about longisland watches and ugtv they created a watch that they do love and would wear daily. It represents them, I personally don't like it but I respect the thought and love they put into it
I'd say the MTG Samurai I love Gshock and all but I don't think I've come to that point to justify 8K for a pure tool watch.
