62MAS Reflection

I absolutely enjoy the size and feel of this watch. Can anyone explain to me why is it so reflective? If I look at the time the crystal seems to reflect all light and it's harder to see the time.

I have a Seiko Samurai Save the Ocean and it's not that reflective

Yes, but some watches come with varying levels of AR (Anti-reflective) coating on the crystal. That's why I ask, this model might not have it, and thus, reflection. 🙂 Worth a google to see if it came with it. Might answer your question.

I have a SPB313 that has AR on only the inside of the crystal and I rarely get glare. I kinda thought all the next tier SPB’s had it🤷

I’ve recently sold a tortoise for the very same reason. Awesome watch but way too reflective too be a comfortable time teller.

It's hard to say but it's this reflective I can see myself in the crystal haha

Great watch. Fits like a glove.

I had a SPB147 that was similar. I think the issue is the slight dome on the sapphire. My skx and an old turtle had flat mineral crystals that are almost invisible.

The 62mas does have AR coating. My 239 doesn't have any issues with glare but does reflect when the light hits the crystal edge. Due the domed crystal, under some lighting, when the dial appears matte you do get a slight glare.
