Which brands have durable watch coatings? and how reliable are these, are they mostly marketing? I was thinking in terms of like:

Citizen have the Super Titanium that’s supposed to increase the scratch resistance. Never tested it though.
I've got a few coated Seiko's ( Willard,62mas reissue, Mm200) and Ive worn my Willard as a beater for over a year and it's not got a single scratch on it. In that respect it's far better finished than my Omega's.
My Longines Classique dress watch (1998) gold-plated with the old PVD coating still looks pristine and as new.
