I believe, an important part of collecting watches is selling it. Because, you know, we need to let go some of our precious because we need to fund a new one ๐ . How do you guys sell your watches?
Low end items are not worth the time and effort -- donate to charity or give them away.
I use some until they die -- just dispose or perhaps a $1 starting auction.
I've never tried to sell my more expensive watches, but would likely try both forums and eBay. Forums are good for showcasing hardcore collector pieces, finding buyers for uncommon/micro brands, and maximizing return by avoiding auction house fees. In contrast, Ebay delivers many eyes and even hoarders who happily buy garbage. They thereby often result in faster sales.ย
I chose D, though I have no plans to sell. ย If I decided to move on from a watch I simply wouldnโt feel comfortable with the risks of selling online (especially worried about getting scammed in various ways), and would be trading up with my AD. ย I recognize the fact that the financial loss will be greater than trying to sell myself. ย However, between the risks inherent with internet selling and the feeling that with my purchase history with my favorite AD, I figure Iโm better off trading in.

D. give away when done/bored of them.ย
If I wanted to get rid of a bigger piece Iโd trade towards newer. Strong way to keep/improve AD status.
I accidentally hit C but the truth is, I've never tried to sell a watch.ย
Sell? are you crazy?! never!
Iโve used chrono24 and found them to be very good.ย

Donโt sell any of my watches. Actually I donโt own mine, I just take care of them for my kids.ย
