Smiths PRS25 Everest = "Unobtanium"

TimeFactors is the worst company I have ever tried to do business with. Again, with Atomic Clock precision and gigabit internet connection speed I was unable to snag a PRS25 when the "store opened" this morning. I was able to instantly refresh and got the "buy" button the instant it opened. Clicked buy into my cart and hit checkout and... nothing. It just sat there with grayed out blocks. Opened new page within seconds and showed "sold out". Within 30 secs (or less) they were all "sold out". So in the end, it's just a worthless crap shoot if you can ever get one and for those of you who got up in the middle of the night to try and purchase I feel for you. What a f__cked up business model.

Exact same story here mate- sorry :(

·

I gave up a few weeks ago too. 😠

This is what they are known for. When you finally prevail it's like hitting the lottery.

I think I got lucky over the summer when I bought the Traveller GMT. I was refreshing constantly and made a Timefactors account ahead of time. Sorry that you missed out it does suck how little time you get to make a purchase. 😵‍💫 I am selling my Traveller GMT now lol. They make good watches, but there are more interesting ones out there.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. It’s stories like these that make me stay away from brands like this. I’m not jumping through hoops to give a business my money. There’s too many other cool watches that are easier to buy.

·

Seems like everyone complains about them - I'd like one, but I'd buy used to avoid dealing with them .

Bots are the herpes of the hype world. I don’t even bother with drops anymore because of all the bots.

It's a rolex homage with a rolex buying experience

Man, isn't that the truth! I can live without the Smith's just like I can live without another Rolex. I enjoy my 1986 GMT II Master purchased in Hong Kong, but will never own another Rolex.

·

It’s a beautiful watch. Sorry about your experience.

These are some crazy prices. I would not recommend buying any watch over its retail price.
