IWC Mark XVIII. What is your favorite IWC pilot's watch?

As a watch enthusiast, I have always been drawn to pilot watches and the Mark series from IWC has always caught my eye. First off, the Mark XVIII is a gorgeous watch with a classic and timeless design. The stainless steel case has a diameter of 40mm, which makes it a perfect size for both casual and formal occasions. The dial is clean and easy to read, with bold numerals and luminous markers for visibility in low-light conditions. The watch is powered by the IWC Calibre 35111 automatic movement which has a power reserve of 42 hours, and that's more than enough for me. It pairs fantastically with all kinds of straps (here we have it on our Two-Stitch Coal).

I love the Spitfire Automatic 39mm in bronze with a green dial. I tried it on a few months ago and it was incredible!

Collective Horology C.03 is my current favorite, but for OEM, a standard Pilots Chrono 41 with a black dial or even the Spitfire dial is my pick.

I got the Mark XVIII Le petit prince on the bracelet and it is just awesome...it´s my second most worn watch...that blue dial is just fantastic...and in low light it´s almost black....but I did brush the polished center links on the bracelet...I do like it better all brushed

The only IWC Pilots watch in my collection is the Pilots Chrono 41 with the blue dial. I recently had the opportunity to try on a friends Mark XVIII in that same blue, and have to say that it is an awesome looking 3 hander. He had been willing to sell his for a great price, but I passed on the opportunity as I liked the idea of pairing mine with a Mark XX on a strap so that I could more easily swap bracelets and straps between the two (the Mark XX features the same EasX-Change system as the Pilots Chrono 41). Now I just need to find an amazing deal on a pre-owned Mark XX.

I tried on the Pilot Mark XX at an AD, and I was immediately turned off by the sharp edges of the lugs. I could foresee those digging into my wrist depending on how I moved around.

I Love the Mark XVIII, Got one last year and have been enjoying the heck out of it! I've been looking for a bracelet since the one I found was on a strap. Does anybody have any helpful tips or resources on where to find an item like this?

·

Have always loved the IWC Mark series, but because I have a smaller wrist I've gravitated towards the smaller references. Was able to find this Mark XV last year and couldn't be happier.
