Tudor bb36 in blue would be my choice. Another grand seiko is sbgw 36mm series. Have you tried any in the stores yet? I suggest to try it out in person first. I used to not like going to the store but lot of grand seikos dont impress me in person. U want to wear it and feel awesome having it on 🙂 like a fav sweater. Congrats on the graduation soon!! When i graduated my sister gifted me a fashion quartz watch, still works till today. U def has some great taste.
I have gone through similar purchase decisions. When i got into watches, a rolex explorer was 3k usd so i would not spend anymore than that for a very good watch. U have to decide if you want a modern and new watch or a preloved one. I decided to go modern and dont have to worry abt the history. Pick a bb58 in blue. Super happy w it. From your list, i would go w the grand seiko and try to find a blue or green dial of the similar sbgw model! Best of luck.
I know whats best for myself, a solid daily wear in bb58 in blue and a mad1 in red for crazy spinning inspiring moments 🙂 maybe ways under budget but they are my picks.
There are some vintage complication like alarms, jumping hours or try a seiko enamel dial for a bit of hand made 🙂 lovely collection so far!
Vintage omegas are nice too at that price range, quirky 70s chronograph or a cw twelve/prx?
