SOTC 2023

I’ve never done this publicly, so here goes. This is the state of my collection as it stands. I bought a 12 slot watchbox because that’s as many watches I would want to have at one time. It took me about 4 years to get here. I haven’t really wanted another watch for a long time. These watches were the ones I set my sights on. I’ve considered selling a couple of them, but can’t convince myself to let any of them go. I have one spot reserved for that hopeful watch one day. What watch would you pick to fill the last slot?

WOWWWWW such a beautiful collection! I personally would fill that last slot with a pop of color. Orange? Yellow? Pink? The world is your watch! lol

·

I’ve thought about it. I just can’t seem to get myself to go over to the orange side yet. 🍊🤔😆

·

Solid collection, Tony! What are you thinking for that last spot?

Nice collection, ticks so many boxes... Maybe a flieger? Laco, IWC ?

·

I’ve thought about a flieger 🤔

·

Drop a Hydroconquest or SuperOcean in there and you’re done.

·

Nicely done! Full of wonderful timepieces.

·

Looks great 👍 Is it just the picture or is there a black/brown Seiko GMT now?

·

It’s a black dial Seiko GMT SKK001

I would add a German watch. You have predominantly Asian watches with 3-4 Swiss pieces (and Hamilton I don't consider Swiss, I'm sorry). I would either go German (they are all over the price gamut.) or a pilot. I'm not all that much into divers but I do love me some pilots. Type XX or a German fleiger.

I used to have a Zeppelin Moonphase, Pointerdate. German made. 38mm rosegold blue dial blue leather strap. Shouldn’t have sold it. #regret

That's an impressive collection. How about a chunky diver for the 12 spot. Maybe an MM300?

·

Great suggestion 💪🏼

Casio #respect

I figured you had no casios i. Your collection as you might orefer automatics instead of wuartz but the oceans models are finished to extremely high wuality and looks great imo. Rn im entering the hobby with casios but would like an automatic in the future just havent explored that deep i to this vast realm yet lol. Or perhaps maybe a g shock variant. Theres tons of models that might suit your taste/needs.

I’m a Casio fan. All the way. I’m geeked out about all their digital retro variants as well. I loved my G-Shock when I had it it was a perfect fit. It was the 1983 original model. I bought my daughter a digital Casio to start her collection. She loves it! I may get another one and even shoot for a Casio automatic down the road.

·

Well, I’m watch poor, not poor poor but if I could afford it I would buy the yacht master II with the rhodium dial. I’d also like to get the new Omega Planet Ocean.

Both GREAT watches!!!

Great collection! You could go a lot of different routes for your final spot. The Laco Pilot watches come to mind, but you could also go digital. I'm a fan of the Casio A168W-1.
