Looking for an orange skindiver

Hiya guys,

My latest obsession is a skin diver with an orange dial. I was able to try on a very pretty Bell & Ross recently. Loved everything about it, except the ridiculous price they are asking. Been looking for similar watches since.

Preferences:

Thin case

Orange dial

Skin diver esque

Found the Vulcain Nautique which fits the specs, but don't know much about the brand.

Love to hear some more suggestions from you guys.

Or if you have any orange skindivers, feel free to share. 😁

I’d do questionable things to own a Vulcain. Namely the cricket

The vintage Vulcain Cricket or also for the modern one?

I agree, just don't know much about the brand.

Check out Doxa as well.

I mean vintage is a dream, but also comes with headaches. Ideally a vintage in decent condition that I could service.

Good one. The sub200 would make a good alternative.

I found out about Vulcain in part from their site - pretty honest about their position. I’m lucky to remember them from my childhood and they were a pretty elite uber-cool brand that was also mysterious. I have the blue diver in my sites. No qualms about buying one, myself. Hope that helps a bit? 😀

Nice one!

Which costs, funny enough, about the same as the Bell & Ross... 😅

I know a guy with a blue version of that Vulcan and it is very cool. Wears great because it’s so slim and looks even better in person.

A Jenny Caribbean i have the black dial one

Awesome little French revived micro.

Regulated in house, extremely robust, good shock protection. Also a countdown bezel, which is the most useful if everyone was being honest.

I have their LHD Douglas Professional Skindiver II. It's awesome.

That Vulcain name is just somehow badass, fwiw. Seem like solid watches, too

·

Glycine Combat Sub is thin. But the Bulova Oceanographer has the best orange hue I've seen on any dial.

·

No need to keep looking. That Vulcain Nautique is a smoke show. Swipe the card and call it done.

·

It’s gotta be the vulcain everyday and a good price point. When I look at bell & Ross I just think “you’ve copied Sinn”!

Also the cricket is 🔥

·

I too like the Vulcain, but I’m looking at the blue. If you wanted to spend way less money the Dan Henry 1975 in orange looks ace.
